Ohio PERS Loses CIO
The Ohio Public Employees' Retirement System (OPERS) is looking to fill the CIO slot at the fund due to the resignation of Jennifer Hom. A statement announcing her departures notes that she is stepping down for 'personal reasons.' Hom was named director of investments in 2005, when she replaced Neil Toth who succumbed to cancer in March of that year. She joined OPERS in 2002 as a bond portfolio manager and was eventually named senior investment officer
