Hall Capital Names New President
John Buoymaster will now serve as president of Hall Capital Partners, the firm announced in a statement.
Buoymaster, who will also continue to hold the position of director of portfolio management, replaces John Boneparth who left Hall Capital to resume his consulting business. Buoymaster is also a member of the firm's executive committee and board of directors.
In his new role, Buoymaster will be responsible for guiding the firm's business strategy and operations.
I'm delighted to announce John Buoymaster's appointment as president of our firm, said Kathryn Hall, the firm's CEO and CIO. He has been a partner and significant contributor to our company for more than 11 years.
Before joining Hall Capital in 1998, he was a VP at JPMorgan.
In other news, the firm has added four new members to its executive committee: Eric Alt, Sarah Stein, Richard Grand-Jean and Helane Morrison. Alt serves as co-director of research, and head of the absolute return group at Hall Capital. Stein is co-director of research and head of the capital markets group, while Grand-Jean is director of business development. Lastly, Morrison serves as general counsel and chief compliance officer. The group also holds the managing director title.
The San Francisco investment firm has $18 billion in assets under management.
