Scout Investment Advisors Adds Lubchenco
Scout Investment Advisors has appointed David Lubchenco, a 15-year investment management veteran, to be its new executive VP of sales, marketing and client services.
Lubchenco joins the UMB Finanical Corporation subsidiary after most recently serving as a managing director of institutional sales for Transamerica Investment Services, an Aug. 26 press release said.
In his new role, Lubchenco will “oversee sales and distribution, product development, marketing and client services.” He will report directly to Andrew Isemen, the Kansas City, Mo.-based firm’s newly appointed CEO.
“David has a proven track record within the investment management industry, with particular successes in growing institutional assets through focused sales and distribution efforts,” Peter deSilva, president and chief operating officer for UMB Financial, said in the statement. “He possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience that will prove very beneficial to Scout.”
Prior to his appointment at AEGON Group subsidiary Transamerica, Lubchenco also worked in a leadership role for Janus Captial Group’s alternative distribution group, the announcement stated.
